Refunds & Returns Policy

 

At Monessa Joan, each garment is thoughtfully designed and made in Ireland especially for you. Because our pieces are created on a made-to-order basis, we encourage you to read the following information before placing your order.

Returns – Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Your satisfaction is very important to us. If your order arrives with a fault, damage, or is not what you ordered, please contact us straight away so we can resolve the issue quickly.

Please inspect your item upon delivery and email monessajoan@gmail.com with your order number and, where possible, photographs of the issue. We will assess the matter and advise on the next steps.

Made-to-Order Items and Returns

As each Monessa Joan garment is individually made once an order is placed, we are unable to accept returns simply due to a change of mind.

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. This applies to all Monessa Joan made-to-order garments.

This approach reflects the made-to-order nature of our work and allows us to carefully source fabrics and manufacture each piece specifically for our customers. Your statutory rights remain fully protected in the unlikely event that an item is faulty or not as described.

Return Eligibility (Where a Return Is Approved)

Where a return has been agreed, items must be returned in their original condition:
• unworn and unused
• with all tags attached
• in original packaging
• accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase

Items returned without prior approval unfortunately cannot be accepted.

How to Arrange a Return

Refunds

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, we will let you know whether a refund has been issued.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to complete the transaction.

If more than 15 business days have passed since confirmation of your refund, please contact us at  monessajoan@gmail.com.
